We also have access to select men’s watch brands not showcased online and are happy to make additional recommendations—whether you're looking for a distinct personal accessory or considering watches for employee gifts or other special purchases.

The price of a good men’s watch can vary significantly depending on your personal preferences, requirements, and budget.

At Knar, we offer a diverse selection of high-quality watches, starting from a modest few hundred dollars to luxury options that exude opulence and prestige.

When establishing your budget, consider factors such as brand reputation, craftsmanship, materials used, and the specific features you desire in a watch. Ultimately, the ideal price for a good men’s watch is one that aligns with your individual taste and financial comfort while ensuring you receive exceptional quality and value in return.

All the men’s watch brands we sell offer warranties covering manufacturing defects. These warranties vary by brand, so checking the specific terms is essential.

At Knar, we also strive to provide a level of service that surpasses industry standards. That’s why we offer our customer guarantee, which promises that if any purchase or creation from Knar Jewellery does not meet quality standards due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it at our full expense.

The men’s watches available on knar.com do not reflect all our in-store products. If you would like to inquire about timepieces that may not appear online, please send us an email or call 1-866-699-5627. One of our associates will be happy to assist in finding the ideal watch to suit your needs.

We also offer custom jewellery design services for customers interested in creating a one-of-a-kind men’s piece of jewellery.

Several factors ensure a watch fits comfortably and looks proportionate on a man’s wrist. Here are some specific recommendations to guide your selection:

Wrist Circumference
  • Start by measuring the wrist circumference. Use a flexible tape measure and wrap it around the wrist, just above the wrist bone. If you don't have a tape measure, use a strip of paper or string and mark it where it overlaps. Then, measure it against a ruler.
  • Once you know the wrist size, you can select the correct watch case diameter and band length.

Case Size: Men's watches typically range from 34mm to 46mm. For wrists around 15cm or less, watches in the 34mm to 42mm range usually look best. Larger wrists, around 18cm or more, better suit watches from 44mm to 46mm. It's important the watch doesn't appear too small or overpowering on the wrist.

Band Length: The band's material (metal, leather, rubber, etc.) can also affect how the watch sits on the wrist. Ensure the band is long enough to fit comfortably. Many metal bands can be adjusted by removing or purchasing extra links, while leather or fabric straps usually have multiple holes for size adjustment. Some brands also offer short or long straps for the perfect fit.

These guidelines will help you select a watch that fits comfortably and looks great on a man’s wrist.

At Knar, we believe shopping online or in person is a matter of customer preference. That’s why we offer our customers the option to purchase a men’s watch through our website or by visiting us at one of our stores in Ontario, Canada.

Online Shopping

Shopping securely through our website is incredibly convenient. You can browse a vast selection of men’s watches from the comfort of your home anytime without travelling to a store. We even offer virtual consultations so you can receive personalized advice and service from experienced staff who can answer questions and provide recommendations based on your individual preferences.

In-Store Shopping

There are also benefits of purchasing a men’s watch from one of our physical store locations. You can try on different watches to see how they look and feel on your wrist, allowing for an accurate size, style, and comfort assessment. For a more personal in-store experience, we recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our AGS-certified sales associates.

Please visit our Customer Care page for more information about our online and in-store shopping experiences, including purchase terms, financing, shipping, and more.

The life expectancy of your watch can vary widely but can often last for generations if well cared for. Proper watch care, which includes avoiding extreme temperature changes, conducting regular cleaning, and providing protection from physical shocks or magnetic fields, can extend the life of your timepiece.

We recommend servicing your watch to ensure its longevity and accuracy.

For a mechanical watch, the service interval can vary by brand. However, anticipate an overhaul every 5-10 years. For a quartz (battery) operated watch, anticipate a battery replacement every 2 years and a service every 7-10 years.

Please visit our Watch Service & Repair page for more information about the types of repairs and restorations we offer.

At Knar, we're not just in the business of selling watches. We're in the business of making your watch-buying experience exceptional.

Whether you're stepping into one of our three brick-and-mortar locations in Guelph, Oakville, and Toronto, Ontario, or exploring our online collection, we know selecting a men’s timepiece for yourself or a loved one is a big decision.
