The 47mm case of the Epic X Chrono has a bold design, creating an "X" shape with the prominent lugs and then running through the case and the architectural structures within the movement. Featuring a semi-skeletonized movement, visible through the colored mineral crystal dial, the Epic X Chrono features a high-end column-wheel chronograph movement with a bi-compax design. The case features an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a ceramic bezel and rubber pushers, a screw-down crown and an inner rotating bezel, controlled by the push-down crown at 10 o'clock. The dial itself is colored mineral crystal, allowing a glimpse into the column-wheel chronograph movement below. Water resistant to 200 meters.

In 2019, Bugatti turned 110 years old. To celebrate this milestone and to inaugurate its partnership with the hypercar brand, Jacob & Co. created the Epic X Chrono Bugatti, a limited edition of 110 pieces, one for every year that Bugatti has been in existence. Based on the existing Epic X Chrono, the sportiest watch in the Jacob & Co. collection, this timepiece is modified in several key ways to make it uniquely Bugatti. This Epic X Chrono Carbon Bugatti 47mm automatic DLC titanium timepiece features the exclusive skeleton column wheel bi-compax chronograph with 27 jewels. Dial is crafted in carbon fiber with black satin-finished anodized aluminium inner rings. Timepiece is presented on a rubber strap featuring a black DLC titanium deployant clasp. Screw-down crown, water resistant to 200m with a sapphire crystal.
