Frederique Constant Classics Premiere: A Steel Double Reading The Elements: Frederique Constant Manufacturer 4 minutes

The Manufacture reveals the timepieces included in its exclusive set which, this year, celebrates the watchmaker’s own vintage: 1988. For 2025, Frederique Constant is marking its 37th anniversary with limited edition Manufacture pieces. Together, they embody the quintessence of what the brand now offers to its most discerning collectors.

The theme of the year? Minerals. Lapis lazuli, and turquoise. Complete with a worldtimer, and moonphase; “The Elements Models”.

Since its inception in 1988, Frederique Constant has been forging its own singular path through Genevan haute horlogerie. Originally 100% independent and family run, the workshop has evolved into a leading integrated manufacture, delivering for 37 years the same messages of fine craftsmanship and accessible luxury watchmaking.

Every year, the brand celebrates the milestone with an exclusive model. For 2025, two limited editions have been made to mark 37 years of horological passion and the Frederique Constant craft. A timepiece for history, dedicated to discerning collectors hoping to capture – at a given moment – the rarest and most exceptional pieces from the Genevan manufacture.

For this new vintage, Frederique Constant wanted to set on equal footing the technical and the aesthetic. The 2025 editions offer a collection of high-level complications, all designed in-house.

For these two pieces, Frederique Constant jumped all the way in, basing its work almost exclusively on the use of mineral dials. Its desire is twofold. Firstly, to meet the demand of collectors who, for some years now, have expressed a growing appetite for these fine and richly coloured materials. As each mineral is cut by hand from a unique and entirely natural stone, no two dials are ever the same. While the two references are part of a limited series, they are all effectively one of a kind.

Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture

It has been said that watchmaking is the daughter of astronomy, and the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture is a testament to that. Understated and refined with a steel 40-millimetre case, it tells the time with an astral patience. A date indication sits at six o’clock with a moonphase nestled poetically inside its circumference.

The FC-716 in-house calibre brings the piece to life, equipped with its brand-new power reserve lasting 72 hours (three full days). Following this reference, there will only be 716 made (according to the same principle: offered exclusively in 2025 as part of The Elements, and the rest in 2026).

For the first time in the manufacture’s history, this model features turquoise. The stone is unique in its black mineral fibres, which run through it to create marmoreal accents. Its minimalist dial has only indices and finely polished dauphine hands, freeing up the surface to let the stone express itself unreservedly. The Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture is radiant, rare, sophisticated and perfectly unisex.

Classic Worldtimer Manufacture: Travel Through Time

Developed by Frederique Constant in 2012, the Worldtimer was an instant favourite among collectors for its simplicity. The 24 major cities encircling its dial are effortless to read. Its day-night indicator is calibrated over 24 hours, with day and night separated naturally into two sections: one dark and one light. Finally, the FC-718 manufacture calibre is adjusted using only its single crown with neither pushers nor correctors. Its 42-millimetre case, made of steel, preserves the purity of its lines and the timelessness of its elegance.

For The Elements, the timepiece is offered with lapis lazuli on both the main part of the dial and the offset date display at six o’clock. Every shade of its blue sings in harmony, like a celestial canopy that calls you to new horizons – the very raison d’être of the Worldtimer.

The Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, on a matching blue alligator bracelet, will be offered exclusively as part of The Elements set then presented at retail during the first quarter of 2026 (718 pieces in total).
